Before founding Reema Health, Justin spent 15 years building products and innovative solutions at healthcare organizations including UnitedHealth Group, where he held progressively senior product roles and ultimately served as Entrepreneur in Residence, and Revel Health (now Icario), where he was VP of Product and owned the product vision and roadmap that scaled the company from 15 to 100 employees.
As CEO, Justin is responsible for the strategic direction of Reema Health and spearheads its relationships with clients and investors, leading the company in addressing the clinical and social needs of health plans’ hardest-to-reach Medicaid, Commercial and Medicare members.
Justin holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas – Opus College of Business and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government.
Before co-founding Reema, Matt spent 15 years designing products and consumer experiences at healthcare organizations including UnitedHealth Group, where he served as Director of Experience Design for Consumer Solutions, and Revel Health (now Icario), where he was Director of Product Design and helped establish the company as a category leader in member engagement. Earlier in his career, Matt held product design roles at Apple and NASA.
As Chief Product Officer, Matt leads product, design, engineering, and data at Reema, ensuring the technology in the hands of Community Guides and Care Teams reflects the realities of the members they serve.
Matt holds a Master’s in Engineering Design Innovation from Northwestern University’s Segal Design Institute and graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Cara Melvin began her career leading housing programs for women with severe mental illness and young families experiencing homelessness, developing a ground-level fluency in the barriers her communities face. From there, she stepped into healthcare leadership as the Manager of Social Services at Hennepin Healthcare, where she supervised 45 social workers and built an award-winning care model integrating population health with social determinants of health. She then moved into a statewide leadership role with the Minnesota Judicial Branch as Court Services Manager for Statewide Programs, leading programming across all 10 judicial districts in mental health, child welfare, and equity.
As VP of Operations, Cara leads the operational engine behind Reema’s growth. Her work ensures the company can expand into new markets and services while delivering on the commitments it makes to its health plan partners and the needs of the members it serves.
Cara holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University, with a focus in Management and Leadership, Program Design, and Public Policy; a Mini-MBA in Healthcare Administration from Rutgers University; and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from St. Olaf College.
Before Reema, Hannah served as employee number two and Senior Consultant at the Michael Best Strategies Healthcare Innovation Group, a practice she helped build from its founding into a several million dollar enterprise. In this role, she developed a network of 127 payer and provider C-suite executives across the US. She worked directly with health plan leadership teams at both national and regional levels for nearly a decade to understand their most pressing challenges, conducted comprehensive market sweeps to identify best-in-class solutions, and coached healthcare companies ranging from pre-seed ventures to Fortune 500 organizations on how to effectively position and pitch to health plan buyers. Her work spanned go-to-market strategy, value-based contracting, and revenue acceleration for companies across the healthcare ecosystem.
Earlier in her career, Hannah worked as a lobbyist, representing clients before legislators, advocating for key policy priorities, and securing access to decision-makers at the state and federal level.
Hannah leads the company’s sales and marketing divisions, where her focus is on bringing the right health plan partners to Reema and ensuring they see lasting value. She oversees the full commercial lifecycle, from pricing and contracting through deal structuring and account growth.
Hannah graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor’s degree.
As VP of Finance, Will leads finance and people operations for Reema, building the infrastructure and strategy that support the company’s growth.
Will joins Reema from DispatchHealth, one of the nation’s most innovative in-home acute care companies, where he served as VP, Head of FP&A and Strategic Finance, leading the FP&A function in support of the company’s growth and operations. He began his career at UnitedHealth Group on the Corporate Development team, focused on M&A and strategic finance, and later moved to UHC Global’s South American insurance and healthcare delivery business headquartered in Chile.
Will graduated cum laude from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Economics.
